The EAA Young Eagles program welcomes young people into the exciting world of aviation. Young Eagles was launched in 1992 to give interest to young people ages 8 to 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation aircraft. The flights are offered free of charge through the generosity of EAA member volunteers. More than 1.9 million Young Eagles have enjoyed a flight through the program.
